The domestic benchmark indices suffered deep losses today(6 May 2022) following the sharp losses in the US markets overnight and Asian stocks this morning.
The BSE Sensex fell over 1,000 points to 54,668, while the NSE Nifty shed 316 points to 16,366.
All frontline stocks were in the red. Among the Sensex-30 shares, Bajaj Twins, Maruti, Wipro, Ultratech Cement, HCL Tech, Axis Bank, Infosys, HUL, and Tata Steel were the top losers, down up to 3 percent. Read more
