Opening Bell: The Indian markets opened volatile in today's(14 March 2023) trade, amid grim global cues. Key indices Nifty50 was flat below 17,200 levels, whereas the S&P BSE Sensex hovered around 58,258 levels.
Broader markets, too, were tepid in the trade as Nifty Smallcap 100 and Nifty Midcap 100 indices slipped up to 0.3 percent. The volatility index, India VIX, meanwhile, slipped over 3 percent.
