Sensex soared 576 points at 59,766 levels while Nifty aadvanced 168 points to quote at 17,814

Indian benchmark indices mirrored trends in Asian markets and posted solid gains today. The frontline S&P BSE Sensex soared 576 points, or 0.97 percent, at 59,766 levels in early deals today led by Titan Company (up 9 percent), IndusInd Bank, Asian Paints, M&M, SBI, Reliance Industries, and ICICI Bank.Nifty50, meanwhile, advanced 168 points to quote at 17,814. In the broader markets, the BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices rallied 1 percent and 1.3 percent, respectively. The broader markets have also started the day on a firm note, with the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices up over a percent each. Here's a detailed view of the broader indices on the BSE.

Sobha zoomed to a high of Rs 852.25 on the BSE this morning, and was trading with a solid gain of 10.5 per cent at Rs 838 on the back of robust sales in Q2.

The market capitalisation of Tata Motors on Thursday crossed Rs 1.20 lakh crore, thus making it the second most valued auto company by market cap.

Nazara Technologies jumped to a high of Rs 2,745 in opening trades, after the company's board approved a preferential allotment of fresh equity shares worth Rs 315.30 crore to institutional investors. The stock has now pared some gains, but still up 2.15 per cent at Rs 2,687 on the BSE.
